一、 Definition of high-capacity fan
High Airflow Fans belong to the fan product category, and their core design purpose is to maximize the air delivery per unit time. The key performance indicators of this type of product are focused on CFM (cubic feet per minute) or m ³/h (cubic meters per hour), rather than deliberately pursuing low noise effects. It is more suitable for use in open and semi open scenarios with low air flow resistance.
1、Core Features
1. Suitable for open ventilation environments: There are no restrictions of closed air ducts, and the airflow can quickly spread or be discharged, achieving optimal heat dissipation/ventilation efficiency.
2. Larger air flow volume: Under the same size conditions, its air volume is significantly higher than that of ordinary fans. Some industrial grade high air volume fans can achieve a single air volume of tens of thousands of m ³/h.
3. Suitable for low resistance environments: The performance is optimal in unobstructed environments with wind resistance less than 50Pa. When the wind resistance increases, the attenuation amplitude of its air volume is higher than that of static pressure fans.
4. Single design orientation: prioritize ensuring air volume output, and prioritize controlling noise and energy consumption below air volume indicators.
2、Supplementary Performance Key Indicators
1. Air volume benchmark: Small axial flow high air volume fans (80-120mm) typically have an air volume of no less than 60CFM, while industrial grade axial flow fans can reach an air volume of 10000-50000m ³/h.
2. Static pressure adaptability: The static pressure value is generally low (less than 80Pa), suitable for scenarios without filters and complex air ducts. If used in high resistance environments (such as multi filter cabinets), the air volume will be significantly reduced.
3. Motor characteristics: High speed AC motors or DC brushless motors are often used to increase air volume by increasing the speed, which is usually 30% -50% higher than the same size silent fan.
