Worried about falling into traps when choosing a DC fan? Master the key points and select a good product accurately!
Core details, strictly controlled
Bearing: preferably double-ball or hydraulic type
The bearing is the core of a DC fan, and its quality determines its service life. Choose those marked with "Dual Ball" or "Hydraulic", which have excellent durability and a lifespan of 30,000 to 50,000 hours, ensuring long-term stable operation.
Fan blades: Smoothness and no deformation are key
Check the appearance of the fan blades to ensure they are smooth, flat, and free from deformation or flaws. Gently rotate the blades to check for smooth rotation without eccentricity or shaking, as these issues can affect airflow, increase noise, and shorten the lifespan.
Wiring: Flame-retardant insulation is essential
Wiring safety is crucial. High-quality DC fan wiring should be flame-retardant and insulated to prevent fires caused by aging or short circuits. It is safe to check the wiring regularly and ensure that there are no exposed copper wires.

Noise: Even wind noise is the most pleasant
Connect the power supply and turn on the device, listen to the operating sound. A high-quality DC fan should only produce a uniform wind sound, without any "clack-clack" friction noise or "hissing" current noise. The noise level should be ≤40 - 50dB for a quieter operation.
Temperature: The motor is considered qualified only if it is not hot to the touch
After the fan has been running for 1 hour, touch the motor area. If it feels hot to the touch, it indicates poor heat dissipation or a quality issue with the motor. Prolonged use may easily damage it and affect its lifespan.
Inertia: The rotation of fan blades after power off indicates quality
Disconnect the power supply and observe the fan blades. After a high-quality DC fan is powered off, the blades should be able to rotate for 5-10 seconds due to inertia, indicating that the bearings are smooth, the rotational resistance is low, and the operation is more stable and efficient.
